Last updated 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Equaudit, Khaled Ben Mansour, 28 Rue Cheikh Mohamed Mhiri , Nasr 1, 2037 Ariana Tunisia, handles personal data when you use Equaudit. Contact: hello@equaudit.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, company name and a salted hash of your password.
- Analysis results: percentages and head-counts computed from your uploads (for example gap percentages, quartile shares and category names with counts).
- Technical data: a strictly necessary session cookie, and server logs with IP address and request metadata for security and debugging.
- Billing data: handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We receive a customer and subscription identifier and the plan status, not your card details.
What we do not store
The payroll file you upload is read in memory to compute the indicators and is then discarded. We do not store individual employees' pay, gender or any other row-level data. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we process data, and the legal basis
- To provide the Service and manage your account (performance of a contract).
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse and send transactional emails such as verification and password reset (legitimate interests, and contract).
- To comply with tax and accounting obligations, through Paddle for payments (legal obligation).
If you upload payroll data you are the controller of that data and we act as your processor for the short time it is held in memory. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it.
Who we share data with
- Paddle.com, for payments, taxes and invoicing.
- Our hosting provider and our email delivery provider, who process data on our behalf.
We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Account data and reports are kept until you delete your account, which removes them immediately from our database. Backups and logs are rotated within a limited period. Invoicing records are kept by Paddle as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. You can delete your account in your settings or write to hello@equaudit.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
